A friend had this for several years. It is an Original Remington Rolling block, new half oct./ half round 28 1/2 inch Badger barrel, beautiful blue on barrel, new case colors on action, nice walnut stock and forend. All matching numbers on the action, block, hammer and trigger guard. Only no no is it had a flat buttplate, with a toe on top of stock, guy cut the plate off, left toe as a filler, and put on Kick eez recoil pad. I loaded up some 300 gr. and 405gr. CB's with Unique, did not like the 300's much, commercial, too hard, my home rolled 405s, shot well after some zeroing of the sights. I managed to hit some small targets out to 150yds, size of a quart oil can, off a sandbag and truck tool box with buckhorn open sights. I cant wait to load some 2ffg BP an 405s with SPG lube and lube cake over waxed card wad, under the bullet, sure shot well back in the day when I used to shoot BPCR a lot. Thinking about getting an extra extractor, anyone know a place to pick one up, the rolling type on left side of breech block, not the sliding type. I can email pics if I can get anyone to post them. Just thought I would share.
