If you have read some of my other post I have been trying to get a load that works using the 200 grain Lee and some surplus wc860. I tried full cases, way too hot, and reduced loads and all I got was poor accuracy my best groups were 3.5" at 50 yards. This was not the load for me. Then I tried some 4895 that I also got from bartlett. Wish I had saved the money on the wc860 abnd bought more 4895. 31 grains 4895 under the Lee gave me a nice 5 shoot group of 1.5 inches at 100 yards with one flyer, if that is what it was, opening the group to 2.2". I wasn't even getting close with the other powder. Now to tweak it a little more. I may go back and try some full cases of the wc860 after heat treating some boolits and see if that makes a difference.

PS I full length size mine and never had a problem using the Lee dies. Although it seems to really work the brass.

According to my notes, I shot a 3/4" group at 50yd. using the Lee 309-200R with 12.5gr. Unique and CCI #34 primer. COL at 2.885. Luckily my mold casts at .298 on the nose and .310 on the bands, bullets are gas-checked, lubed with LLA and sized to .309 with Lee sizer. The bullet does seat quite deep in the case but no biggie.

I've had similar results using Red Dot, 700X, Green Dot, 4759 and 5744.
