Felix:

Mossberg made a Marlin knock-off - their Model 472 in various configurations - for a few years in the mid-70's, but this looks more 94-ish and appears to be something altogether new, at least for them. I'd like to see one.

Looks real familiar, doesn't it? Wonder if the parts interchange.

I thought I saw an article about this somwhere. I remember that the bolt was much different than a Winchester.

Kinda looks a lot like my model 94.

Still looks like it has that goofy safety, though.

Well, I'm glad to know it's tremendously fast handling, maneuverable, and astoundingly accurate. They say so. All qualities good to have in a M94 knockoff, capturing a market Winchester has abandoned.

You can also get their JIC 12 gauge, 18 1/2" bbl., pistol grip, packed in a waterproof carry tube. Then you would be ready for any eventuality.

Gun Blast has pictures of it from the Shot Show of this year. It does look like a Winchester in certain ways but it has a round bolt and a solid bridge at the rear. I do not know how it locks up but judging from the looks of the lever and it linkages it probably works like a `94. Their last try at lever guns looked like a Marlin so I wish them better luck this time.
