Hi to all my name is Mark, I have a quick question I have seen load data for .223 REM using WC-820. Has anyone loaded that up and tried to use it in a AR-15? I was curioous as wc-820 can do alot of other loads for me to. Thanks Mark

Firstly Welcome, aboard.

WC820 is not an appropriate powder for the 223 in and AR. WAY, WAY, too fast.

You should be looking at WC 844 or WC 846.

Richbug thank you for the information regarding the WC-820, I figured I would get a educated answer from you guys. I had found load data online for WC-820 and it had .223 listed @ 10.5 - 12.0 grains but figured if it was true I would have found more guys using it. I will stick to WC 846.

Ditto, I've tried it, but pressure signs perk up way before you could get enough going to work the action.
