Im getting the car loaded today for the first local shillouette match of this year. Got all the gear dug out and in the car except for the rifle. will put it in tomorrow morning. Am shooting the hepburn with 6X MVA scope. Load is 70grns 1.5 F old ensford starline 45-90 cases. .060 Napa rubber fiber wad compressed to .560from case mouth ( about 200 compression). Old West 547grn "shillouette" bullet. This load is just about .010 off of rifling, loads very easily with little thumb pressure. If the wind today persists ( around 20-25 mph right now) tomorrow like today its going to be an interesting day holding that long barrel offhand and then at the longer ranges. Have to get the rifle cased up and ready. Light cleaning and wipe bore down with spg impregnated patch yet and get the spotter clip board ready to go. Looking forward to a great day. I put the above load together this spring and only have 100 yd and 200 yd zeros so 300,400. and 500 Ill be depending on my spotter LOL

Maybe this will help you some to get close. These are my scope settings for the MVA 28" scope. and the .45-2.4 using a Brooks Creedmoor about the same weight as yours. my 1.5 OE powder load is 79 gr. It should get you on the berm where you can see it.
My 100 yd is 6
200----13
300----18
385----26
500----32

Went helped set up and get ready. Was 37 degrees or so at 7"30 buy 9:00 it was all of 40* no sun and a chilly wind blowing, Just a cold day so my buddy and I politly bowed out. We were leaving around 10:00 and truck thermometer read 41* my weather on the phone said 39 but feels like 32*. With the numbness I have from the MS cold can become an issue for me. Lead pot Thanks for the zeros they seem close to my 100 and 200 yds zero, What is hte ring spacing on your MVA scope?

Lead pot thats the same spacing as my rifles blocks are. My scopes are the 34" model by MVA but its the ring spacing that sets the scales amount. I didnt shoot with the cold and wet, would have loved to with the wind that was blowing today. Would have been a real learning experience to do it. Thanks for the info though. I can adjust 300,400 and 500 the difrence of 200 and 100 I have and be pretty close.

It was cold here this morning also. 28 degrees when I got up and the winds where up but I wanted to see how the .45 cal 121 parker hale bullet behaves in the 20 mph winds we had today. I didn't spend a lot of time at the range just enough to see how the bullet behaves. I don't spend much time with the flat nosed GG bullets, but I was impressed how it held in the fishtailing winds we had today.

Tigweldt, I picked up one of the compartment style clip boards ( has the clip board on the lid oc a small storage area) inside it are extra pens ( pencils for when its raining) the cork shillouette shapes for spotting, my note book with sight setting sheets for each caliber/ rifle and room for more, extra push pins for spotting. Keeps everything nicely contained and in a known area. I need to glue a clip to the lower right side for score sheet below the spotting board yet. But it makes a nice self contained set up for me that holds pretty much all the paper work small untensils needed. I got mine at walmarts but almost any office supply store or such have them fairly cheap.
