i have used it in 9mm, several rifles now and gonna try blackpowder conicals this weekend! it has not failed me yet! (Shameless plug for Randy Rat)
it is good stuff. will try in .223 and 222 with a lee bater in the coming weeks
so far no temp related issues has anyone not have it work?

If you like his Tac1, try his TacX. I've used both and prefer the slightly harder TacX in the GA heat. Not sure how well it will work in a black powder gun.

I like it, but not sure about using it with bp. I don't know all of the ingredients, and I sure would not want asphalt deposits in the bore.

If the boolit fits and the alloy is right it has not let me down yet.
I melt it and pour in my lubesizer in the summer I add an ounce of carnuba per pound per Randys recomendation and it works in our heat which is 90-100+ all summer.
Try it I think you will like it!

I bought some off of evil bay a couple of years ago and so far I have used it on 9mm, 38, 357, and 44 mag. So far so good. I have not tried it on any of the various rifle boolits. I bought some Lars canuba red and I generally use that for the higher velocities. But having said that since I still have a lot of it so I'm going to try it on some boolits for the Mosin.

I like Tac 1 too. I got some sticks after my dad bought a bunch of eBay. I ran out, so I tried the Tac X since I live in S. Florida. I haven't got to test it much, but so far so good.

I posted this photo in this month's castpic of the month.
Bator and the 222 (and Tak 1)
I've found this trifecta to function very well together

13.6gr of reloder 7 gave the best groups (about 2" @ 100 yards) with the alloy of 94-3-3 sized to .226 from a Savage mod 340. Measured FPS=2300
The trigger was pretty awful on that savage, I have high hopes for my new CZ527, which I haven't shot yet. I have sold the Savage.
