Top picture is the 350gr cast over 33.5 grains of IMR4198, bottom picture has an additional group with same bullet over Unique. The IMR load speaks with authority, the Unique load recoils like my heavy barreled 22-250. These were fired at 50 yards, I enjoy casting, loading, and shooting these big thumpers, I like them for inexpensive trigger time. I would like to recover one of these, but I can't seem to dig deep enough to find one.

How much velocity do you think, with those loads, IMR 4198 is a great powder for heavy lead loads.

I don't have a working chronograph any longer, but based on the recoil, and the extrapolated load data, I would estimate 1700 to 1800 FPS. I have tried pushing them over 2000 FPS, but they get some serious yaw, and I imagine they would keyhole at 150 yards, these loads fly true, and so I will be sticking with this load for my increased trigger time. This Ruger has proven to be a very accurate rifle with a variety of bullets and loads, to date it has turned in sub MOA accuracy with Hornady 300gr RN Interlocks, and with Sierra 300gr BT Spitzers, with the Sierra bullets, I have shot targets at 525 yards, and printed a 4 1/2" group for 5 shots. I bought this rifle with the intention of moving back to Alaska, looks like it will have to be an elk and oryx rifle instead.

I like it.

So far I have only shot the remington 270gr seconds over top of Reloader 15. It's quite accurate with this combo.

I'm going to have to wait on buying a mold for this one for awhile. Job is not looking good.

With jacketed, RL 17 has been the clear winner of what I have tried, Ramshot Big Game is good, so is IMR 4007SSC, need to try some H414 or 4350.
