Just sharing a pic of my new fume hood. I found the idea online, some other guy had done it with the same range hood.
Made using a range hood fan, four 2x4 legs, 1/4 woodchip walls, and a 6 inch layer of vinyl at the top to contain fumes and see through.
Pretty ghetto, tape and caulking, but it's pretty well sealed and works fine.
Not too heavy, goes straight outside through the garage wall.
With a nice light to boost.
Will make it nice to dry acetone hi-tek without breathing it, cook bullets without smelling the burnt coating, and casting/fluxing without the fumes/smoke/smell.
Don't look at the mess on the workbench, I was just done :P
