Does anybody know what boolets or molds will fit a 307 Winchester in the original Winchester 94AE lever action? Does this rifle take the same boolets as does a 30-30 rifle? I have tried boolets from my RCBS 30-180-SP-GC and they run into the rifling when I try to load them.

Same as 30/30, Lyman 311041, you'll never need anything else in your levergun, try .310" if mold drops them big enough.

I checked with a couple of places and the Lyman molds are running around $75. I like the Lyman molds and they seem to be pretty good quality, but I usually can get them quite a bit cheaper through eBay if I watch them long enough. But I don't see any of these advertised on eBay now. It seems like the 30-30 molds should be popular? Are there any other 30-30 molds that are available cheaper that would do for close range deer shooting in the dense woods? I've had a couple of Lee molds and they seem to be ok for the money for a plinking round out to 25 or 30 yards?

My best accuracy with mine was with Lyman 311291. Mine fit perfectly, and I never needed anything else for it. RCBS 30-180-F worked really well too.

The RCBS 180 fn runs fine in my 30-30. A Spitzer might not have enough of a flat to be safe in a tubular magazine.
