Good choice, bad choice, wish you had not. No intention past 405's, no can on this. Thinking FTX just to see, but really work on a bunch of things checked and coated. Just getting into really chasing info on these things, I need to spend some time on their site.

Go to the 458 SOCOM forum, there may be some people there with the same twist.

That's extremely slow
I have a 1:14 and it shoots everything from 300 to 405 very accurately.
500 grns subsonics are so accurate some people think I am lieing when I show them a target

I run 1:14 and it does very well with cast and coated bullets. I had Hardline make me a custom 500gr .460" mold, it's like shooting slugs from a 12 gauge but way more accurate (I've only shot slugs from smooth bore shotguns)

Let me guess, Wilson Combat? They have that wonky twist rate and reverse engineered chamber reamer. Better off with a 1-14.

It is very interesting after much online research how the lines are drawn on this platform.

If SAAMI would stop with their politics and approve the .458 already, everyone involved would be better off.
