I've been planning to jump into the .380 Auto and now have brass, dies, and a mold. Was looking at the different pistols available and discovered the Kahr CT380. I like Kahr pistols but always thought the CW380 was just too small for my taste. The new CT380 looks just right, it appears to be the same size as the Kel-Tec PF9 which I always thought should have been a .380. The price is really nice too, some sellers on GB have them for $275.00 plus shipping. According to the specs it has a 1:16 twist conventional rifling barrel, which should be very boolit friendly. Anybody have experience with one of these?

Not a Kahr, but if you are looking at "bigger" 380s ,don't over look the Beretta 84 and 85 (86 if you can find one). Not pocket pistols but a heap of fun and they shoot great. Never thought I was interested in a 380 until I picked up an 86 a few years ago. I liked it so well I bought an 84BB two weeks later!

Yes, those are very nice pistols. They bring very high prices around here, especially the Browning version.

I ordered the CT380 yesterday at the local shop, should be here in a week or so.

Yes i have a Kahr CW380 ! i like it alot i give it a A+! no problems after about 300 rounds of cast and about 100 jacketed, the recoil is a little less than my Kel-Tec 380 and old AMT back up . and accuracy at 20' is one ragged hole of about 1 to 1.5 inches . it at least has useable sights that the other's dont have ! I have since added the mag extensions from Kahr to give me a more hand filling grip.

I had the Kahr CT40 as a test sample after SHOT last year and though it is not the same caliber it is a similarly built pistol. The one I reviewed was a solid pistol.

They sure are nice pistols. Do you stage the trigger or pull straight through?
