Almost had an oopsie today. Weighed and charged 100 308 cases, and looked the data up again to see what the COL for a 150 grain Partition was. Then I noticed, the charge I used was for a 110 gr bullet, not a 150 grain one. Nosler apparently changed the appearance of their website since the last time I loaded these, and I obviously wasn't paying close enough attention to detail. Was a bit miffed about having to dump 100 cases and start over, but, I caught my mistake BEFORE I seated the bullets! Gotta look at the bright side.....

There is a graphic illustration of what can happen in this very forum. Be diligent, it may well save your life.

Just wait until you load 1000+ rounds of 308 heavy ball with a powder charge for light ball and have already seated all of the bullets before you compare what you loaded to what you wrote on your load data label.
Lots of work to disassemble!

Good catch Doc and you too Brass. Doc print out a copy of the online data, refer back to the website from time to time and print it again if they make changes to the loads. Its great to have usable data that may no longer be published.

No matter how long we do this, we should never take anything for granted. Good catch.

That's why I use printed manuals as much as possible. They don't change.
