First Swaged Boolit

First swaged boolit using Speer half jackets, almost pure lead,a nd weighs just over 201 grains. All criticisms welcome. How else could I learn?

Looks better than my first swaged bullet haha. Just my opinion, but I would rather not have the step between the jacket and lead. I like to see a smooth transition between the two. What dies are you using?

Good question. They came with the press. I adjusted the die down until the sides smoothed out.

Your dies are meant for exactly what you are doing with them! Unfortunately with that particular style you cannot make the jacket flow around the nose to create the ogive, they appearto be a rn swc. But they will definitely make some very shootable ( bullets ) !

shorten the core and they will be about 185grs and go from the jacket right into the round nose portion.

the pacific set-up looks super similar to the C&H set up, except for the thread size on the top punch part.
