I use 11.5-14.0 grains of 1680 with this exact boolit. I cast of 80.20 WW/Lino and water drop. Size to .3105, GC and LBT "Blue" lube. Great results/accuracy

What OAL are you using? This barrel seems to have a short throat. Max OAL with this boolit puts the case mouth right at the crimp groove and leaves the gas check below the neck.

It looks pretty cute. Is the gas check below the neck an issue in this bottleneck case?

I am shooting these in a 12" MGM custom Encore barrel, so I seat the slugs out to "kiss" the rifling leade. Generally, I don't worry much about bullet bases sticking below the case neck. My slugs are pretty hard (BHN 22+) so that might help prevent problems. You know, this bullet was originally designed for the .30-30 Winchester, a case with a very long neck.
