A question came to mind I wonder if I did loose value on my sweed only because I change out the military 2 stage trigger for a Boyds Bold trigger?
The M-96/38 I have is a all matching number gun except for the miss match stock
both bottom and top (Hand Guard)are not matching
inletting the new trigger some say I have lost value.
I did not touch any thing else went with a S@K scout base Bolt handle was bent at the factory dated 1925
I would think to bring it back a lower stock would do the trick more on the lines of military.
The rear sight complete and the trigger are bag.

keep the original trigger, don't do as I did. I had a correct number swede in a cherry perfect stock and many years ago I ruined the stock trying to improve it. Now thru tears of regret I only have memories of it in its original dress! Still is a sweeeet gun!

The original trigger and rear sight is bagged
I would have not added the upgrade trigger or inletted the stock if it was a matching number stock
