Well, about a month ago I finished building my AR. It has the 20 inch SS bull barrel from DPMS in 223, free floating fore arm from Windom, lower from Anderson. I Put a scope from my Mosine Nagant on it and sent some lead down range. It was then that I decided it just wasn't for me.
My son n law took some pictures and posted it somewhere. Got a call for a meeting today. Story short, I traded it even for a Remington 700 in 270 with scope and a Remington 1100 12 ga shotgun. I looked booth of them over close and could not tell either had ever been shot. He threw in a hard case for both and ammo for both.
I had wanted a 270 for some time now and I had a Rem 1100 a few years ago that I have been kicking myself for selling it. So I am very happy with my trade. Son n law is already buying brass and dies for the 270.
