The attached PDF file is a drawing of a steel pot made from standard 12 inch pipe.

The pot consists of a 13 inch tall pieces of 12 inch pipe with three legs for support.

The pipe has a wall thickness of 3/8 inch and the welded in bottom is also 3/8 inch thick.

The three support legs are also 3/8 inch thick.

The total pot assembled weighs around 78 pounds. The pot will hold 500 pounds of lead.

The legs will be cut with a laser CNC cutting machine.

Have not made the pot as of today and the drawing in PDF file format is for a reference to the size of the complete unit.

Will look for a shot piece of pipe at the scrape yard next week.

This drawing may be helpful to others looking for a similar capacity smelting pot.

The pot was designed using SolidWorks and the drawing is a PDF print out of an AutoCAD drawing developed from the SolidWorks model.

I like it but there was a thread here a while back from a member who had a similar welded pot. It leaked. If you are capable of welding it properly or can have it done by someone who is, you shouldn't have a problem.
