It was early........4:00 a.m...........and I was already up. Decided to do some sizing, so I unbolted my Rock Chucker from its mount in order to set up my lubrisizer. I suddenly lost my grip on the press and it hit the carpeted floor with a THUD. The press wasn't hurt (or my foot) but the seating die left in the top suffered a badly bent seating stem. Tried to straighten it and of course you can imagine how THAT went. I'll have to cut the stem with a Dremel tool in order to screw it down into the die and remove it.
Got through to RCBS and explained what happened. Result is a replacement stem being sent out in today's mail at absolutely no charge.....even after I explained that the damage was due to my clumsiness and not a warranty issue. Gotta love those folks!:bigsmyl2:
