San Marco Gardone VT Brescia

This is a San Marco 2nd Dragoon 1850 Cal 44. I just bought this from a friend it looks brand new. Are San Marco any good and what powder charge and ball size does it use. What the ball park on it value. Thanks in advance for any answers. It looks very well made and the timing is perfect.

Quality can be spotty. SM/ASMs tend to break hand springs early in their use. I own a bunch of ASM Colt clones (no Dragoons though) and most have had their hand springs replaced (I've gotten good at fabricating them from my wive's bobby pins). You may have trouble getting parts for it.
