I was doing a bit of bench cleaning found a sight which I had picked up probably a couple of decades ago. It's a reflex sight that was introduced by Thompson Center back in the 1977, based up an article I came across. Cost at that time was $73, I have no idea what I paid for it. Quite a compact little setup, problem is that it has the base for Colt Trooper, probably the reason why I bought it. I know I wasn't bitten by the Contender bug until some time later. So now I'm tempted to 'try' to put it onto one of the Contender barrels, but I need the proper base for that. Anyone have an idea of where I might find such an animal? I did a search for Precision Machine and Tool, here in Ohio, but got nada.
