As said above looking to cast for the .311 calibers I am thinking of using .314 cast 1 LB lead to 1 LB Linotype 202 grn bullets. Plaining to use IMR4064. Is anyone doing this for any of the listed cartridges?

This is a post of my 303 with Lyman 314299 and 4064 with and without dacron if you use full power you'll over spin the boolits casing accuracy deterioration

Yup. I started casting in 1963 with a 311299 for .303 British and 7.65x53 Argentine. Sized .311 with a Lyman 310 tool and pan lubed until I could afford a better sizer/lubricator. When a cousin gave me an Arisaka, I used that same bullet. Accuracy from my Arisaka was not as good as it was from the SMLE No 1 Mk III* or the 1891 Mauser. When slugging the bore of my Arisaka I found it was tight (.312) near the muzzle and breech but loose in the middle. This might explain the poor accuracy.

Have not tried this bullet in a Moisin Nagant, but see no reason it would not work. Before buying a mold, slug the barrel of your rifle so you know what diameter bullet you want. If the groove diameter is .312, you will want a .313 to .314 diameter bullet.

You really have to slug those Mosin Nagants. I have a few, and my first was a Fin M95. I haven't shot any cast bullets in it, but it would drive tacks with .308 jacketed bullets. My Soviet Mosin Nagants have bigger bores.

My No4 MkII sings with a bullet that weight over 14gr of 2400 for just shy of 1400fps.

You may find that in all the above cartridges you will need at least .314 inch girth. Maybe even more. If you can chamber it, send it.

I'm using the NOE 316299 GC mold, sizing to .314 as I recall. I've loaded using standard lubing with a 4500 but have also tumble lubes with LLA as well and both have wirked just fine. I'm using IMR 4198.
