Many years ago, I had a .32 Mag Bisley with a fluted cylinder and the rear sight adjustable for windage only. Some years ago I got a little short of money and had to sell it. I regretted that ever since. Today I brought home a brand new in the box, never fired, complete with papers, Single-Six 32 HRM that had been manufactured in 1985!

I am a happy individual. I still have dies, cases, molds, and 150 rounds loaded up from before. My hope is this one loses its virginity this weekend

Try the RCBS 98 Gr. SWC if you haven't. My SS Bisley loves it. Runs under an inch at 26 yds. regularly, best of 6 in .46" The fixed sight models have one of the best sight pictures of any Ruger. A trigger job is about all they need. I have mine set to 1.5# using all factory parts.

Bless your heart! I'm happy for you. I love the 32 mag. One of the best cartridges ever made.

rbertalotto - I used to have a Ruger just like your SS but of course it wasn't one of Bill Jordans, and I sold it to buy a pistol per the advice of another guy I shoot with that recommended I sell it since I haven't shot it in a while and probably won't in the future. I reluctantly agreed and don't know what in the #$%^ I was thinking. I've regretted that decision ever since. I managed to get two 32 mags since then but not that exact model. My new policy is to never sell a 32 ever again. Hang on to that one, especially since it was one of Bills.

Welcome back to the Dark Side... you won't escape again. Twenty five years ago I sold a Ruger Buckeye Special Convertible 32 Mag & 32-20 and a 6" Model 16-4 S&W. I've got a Ruger 327 FM Blackhawk stainless and a custom-built 327 FM stainless S&W K-frame, and I don't see them going anywhere! :guntootsmiley:

I bought an unfired Single Six in .32 H&R Magnum from a fellow forum member awhile back, and then while in a gun shop in the southern part of the state last week, lo and behold there was one on the consignment wall in the same barrel length, 6.5". I managed to walk out the door with it for $350.00, and once it was cleaned up and deleaded, it's in really good shape. They also had one in 5.5", but I left it there for the next guy.

Hope this helps.

I did manage to hang on to a Buckeye special over the years, but have only shot some 32/20 heavy loads through it. It is really too heavy to lug around. I think the .32 HRM comes into its own in the small frame. This new one has a 4 5/8" barrel and it is, to me, just about perfect for a "knocking around" revolver at the lease.

I shot it this morning. With 10 year old reloads (RCBS gr. SWC and a hefty charge of 2400) a cylinder full would go into 2-2 1/2" @ 25 yds. It is a little stiff and I just ordered some Wolff springs for it. I dug out an old El Paso holster for it.

First gun I ever carried while hunting with my Dad was a Charter Arms .32 H&R magnum. Took my CCW class with it too, and really like shooting the .32 caliber straight wall cartridges.

Saw a SS Bisley at the LGS the other day, but passed on it as the new SP in .327 is coming out. That, and there was a timing issue with the pistol, but still a nice gun regardless.

Great possibilities with the round specifically, and the guns they are chambered in.
