I have a two piece, steel trigger guard, hinged floorplate, that the holes line up with the holes in a 721 Remington one piece bottom metal. I never knew the 700s or the 721s, to have steel bottom metal like the model 70 Winchester. I'm thinking of selling it and would like to know what it is, first. I'm thinking it could be from a 725 Remington, but don't remember ever seeing one. Does anybody know if the 725s had bottom metal like the model 70?

OK, the 720 was an Enfield action. The 725, still has the Enfield safety, but the front receiver ring is not dished out like the Enfield and looks like the 721. Does anybody know if the screw spacings on a 725 are the same as a 721?
