Okay guys.
Been reading up here and elsewhere on slug reloading.

As I understand it, reloading slugs for smooth bore is not as accurate as off the shelf slugs such as Remington Slugger and Federal Tru-ball.

So I have a whole lot of questions and concerns here. And be patient with me as I am completely new to reloading.

So far my options are the Thug Slug, the off the self stuff, and the Lee slug mold (7/8oz and 1oz).

Now I am told that the rifling on the rifled slugs such as the Remington Slugger, those are completely ineffective at spinning the slug in flight.

So what gives the factory ammo so much superiority over the Lee keyed slug if those rifling channels don't provide any flight stabilization spin?

And imagine someone could come up with a good copy of the Remington Slugger slug, or the Federal Tru-ball slug (without the fancy ball in it).
Wouldn't you expect such a slug to reload more accurately than the Lee keyed slug?

And if I were to roll crimp my hulls. Can range hulls that were formerly fold crimped be reused to be roll crimped?
