I have acquired some lead boxes from a neighbor who works in surgery at the local hospital. They are used to package about 30 seed packs that are used to treat cancer. Each box weights a little over 5 lbs and is painted blue.
I haven't melted any down as yet but they feel to me like they are somewhat harder that pure lead. They'd make a nice storage box it they weren't so heavy.

Does anyone know what the actual alloy might be? I have about 60 lbs of them and would like to use them for bullet casting. Thanks for any info.
