Al, at NOE has agreed to produce this mold in a .002 over size and should cast .3122 in lino (about .3117 in #2).
I design this mold with match chambers in mind but, many people wanted it larger to fit other chambers so, here it is.
A little back ground to it:
1. Al's mold format is always WW so, it's designed to cast .309 WW and that should cast .3102 with lino. That was as large as I thought it should be for match chambers. I don't like sizing bullets any more than is absolutely necessary and this bullet was designed to be sized no more that .002.
2. The ogive forms a approximate 1.5 degree angle that will fit both the standard '06 and 308 chamber throats and the GC will be engaged, into the necks of both cases.
3. I designed it to have the highest BC with as little weight as possible. The BC to buck the wind better and the lighter weight less recoil.
4. It's also available in PB.
