my son has been asking for his own Rifle for a wile now OK i told him he could have his pick no Dad i want my own so it starts
I started picking up parts at gun shows and Black Friday sales a few parts at a time so on his 16th birthday i gave him a box of parts
today we finished her i think it looks pretty dam good 135385 he asked me dad i hope you have a lot of AMMO for
her i want to shoot it a lot guess what he learns next

All the ninja dudads may give him some extra motivation to earn pocket cash, always something new to try with an AR.

I'm doing the same thing w/ the stepdaughter. Only thing left to buy is a flip up rear sight. She doesn't know she's going to build it herself. And is bad I'm stashing parts away for my nine month old son so he can build his own :)

the nice thing about building your own Rifle you can pick out your parts my son is a lefty so ambidextrous safety a must barrel is 1/7 twist

Also great to have him build it so he completely understands how everything works! When any problems arise I bet he has a good idea of where to start, having put it together from parts!!!!

For the ninja dudaads point him in the direction of evilbay, cdnn, and the like. Lots of bang for your buck at those places for the smaller non essential parts!!!!
