I picked up some at Camp Perry this year for loading 308 ammo

I have some great groups with jacketed loads for the 308

I would like to load some 303 loads or 308 CB

It is between IMR 4064 and IMR 4320
But it a ball powder

Has any one tryed it with cast ?

I've use regular AA2520 powder in the 30/30 with cast (194grn) and mine seems a tad faster than 4064 or 4320 in the smaller case. But I have a jug of military surplus 2230-C that's close to the 2520 too.

I use AAC2520 in most of my cast rifle loads. I treat it like a ball version of IMR 4895.
