I am working on loads I have the SSk 14" contender I have tried a H&G #20 it drops a 152 gr and the RCBS SIL 176 Grain using 2400 powder with good luck subsonic load about 1 1/2" with the RCBS and almost 2" with the H&G at 100 yards. Any of my lager weight moulds puts the gascheck below the neck into the case.I want a heaver boolit but the throat is short and the lands measure .300 I have talked with Daniel at bull shop he has one I am going to try a little over 200 grains I am also going to try some other powders. would like to know how yours works out keep me posted.

I have 125,160 and 185 gr molds to use in the whisper.its just the data for cast is real thin.mostly what I am going to use it for is paper and coyotes.
any cast data would be a great help.its a TCA barrel so the twist should be 1-10.
thanks

txpete,

there is a topic down about 2 pages called The .32-20 'Whisper' that is where I got the starting loads that I used. There is about to pages of posts all of it is a real good read. I belive a couple of the guys have the TC 300 whisper with the 1 to 10 twist like yours so you should get some good imformation.
