I have a .430 Lyman 450 die i need someone to hone it to .432 and make me a new push rod(if not it will leak lube) to fit it? if so what would this cost?
I have found a .432 of new manufacture but it is $50-$60

any ideas are welcome

I would just sandpaper it larger a steel rod and some wet/dry sand paper
I think there is a stickie on here some where

.002 will not take a lot of time
Get it close and finish it up with some 400/or 600 grit

the amount that will leak past the bottom is very small

the hard part is cleaning it to check dia with a oversize lead slug every so often so you don't go oversize

Try Buckshot,a vendor on this site. I got a .433 from him and if memory serves me it was quite a bit less than $50-$60. He does great work, guarantees size and you might need a .430 in the future.

Used sizer dies are for sale here often in the swapping selling section. Most used ones go for $20 or less shipped.
You can always ask in the want to buy section for a .432 sizer die.

My coffee has not kicked in yet but now I'm thinking you live outside the USA. ?

The machinists we have on this forum are very good at what they do at the prices they do it at .

I would not hesitate to contact any of em to have work done .

A list that comes to mind is :

Buckshot
The professor
Goodsteel

I`m sure there`s more , but I`m old & my internal hard drive skips a little at times.
