Hey guys, getting ready to melt alloy into ingots, what would be a good 'recipe' for mix. I'll be shooting 45acp and 9mm at steel. I have coww wheel wts, dead soft lead, linotype, and 60/40 solder. Will shoot a little low pressure 44mag and 38 super also, thanks, Limpy,

No problem. I simply used the search function and pasted a couple. There are hundreds more.

A lot of folks go with 50/50 COWW/Pure. I just use straight COWW for my boolits.

Lot said about adding a touch of tin to the COWW's enough to bring it up to about 2% tin but even 1% added tin makes a difference. Pewter, solder or pure tin are the common sources.
