I bought some of these at a gun show a few years ago. I have been using them to store 22 ammo. They have a screw on lid with a rubber O-ring. Last night I thought I'd see if this worked and it did. I got nine of the 45 and eight of the 10mm in each tube.

I wonder how they would do with K frame speedloaders?

That's kind of clever. I wonder if you could cut a small circle of cardboard and put a disk of cardboard between each loader to help protect them in transport? It would be a cool method to carry loaded moon clips in a car/truck.

instead of cardboard I'd think foam or bubble wrap - inside my double pouch I have plastic pipe two clips high in each one - 4 reloads on the belt for the ol 25-2 S&W.

Foam would be the best. It would cut down on capacity but protect the bullets and keep them from rattling in the tube.

Looks like plenty of clearance around N frame moons... K frame speed loaders should be fine.
