Clever! Bravo Zulu to you!

You could use .45 Cowboy Special without trimming, if you had any....

Outpost, I'd dearly love to have some Cowboy 45 Special brass! I'm hoping that things at Starline will calm down enough soon for them to make some, as I've read is their plan. The only issue that I have with cutting so much off the LC cases is that the (new) neck can be quite a bit thicker. I suspect that wouldn't be the case if the CS brass were cut down, and there'd be less chance of the noticeable bulge at the base of the bullet. Yes, reaming would work, but there's another time-consuming step to add to the process...

Interesting link to Webley, PB234 - I'd be tempted to send them $100 but I think I'll wait until I hear "the rest of the story" and see what the final purchase price will be. With used Mk VI's going in the $600 and up range, I can only imagine what they're going to want for a new one at today's labor and material prices! $2000? $3000? And they don't say whether they'll build them to replicate the rough wartime finishes or make them to look like old Smiths and Colts with mirrored, deep blue finishes...
