Wilson part # 429bg grip safety

I like to ask any one here drop the wilson Palm safety into a 1911 Mil Spec
if so how did the part fit ?
I have a Mil-Spec 1911 now has a upgrade Chip Mc-Cormick hammer and a stock Colt Commander .
I would like a little higher grip was thinking in the Wilson part

Generally, any drop in 1911 part will require some fitting. Grip safeties usually require some tweaking at the trigger notch. As far as getting a higher grip, you'll probably gain something, but all in all, it's better in the long run to buy the jig and learn to fit the safeties properly.
