always wondered how the 357Mag or 45 Colt was out of a derringer but I have never found someone that has tried it. don't look at me to be the first

had an old AmericanDerringer M4 .45/.410 for years! got it in a trade for next to nothing and it was NIB! Colts and birdshot are controllable and basically pleasant. Buckshot loads are HANDFULL OF I GOT TO KILL YOU!!!! TO GET YOU OFF ME!

I have one in old 38 special. Don't recall make right at moment. I will say it gets Special when both barrels decide to fire at same time.

I have shot the 45 Colt out of one with a longer barrel. It was a cowboy load and not bad. I figured this one would be good for launching lead and bird shot.

That's a neat derringer you have there. I have a 3 1/2" 45/410 Bond Arms and love it.
I've lately started loading the lee 298 gr. minnie ball boolits in mine...very accurate with the big hollow base. I've shot many reduced and full power factory and reloads in mine and none of them were uncomfortable to shoot to me. The minnie ball is the most accurate boolit or bullet i've found so far for mine.
Yours would certainly fit the pocket better than mine.
