I sent a few of my 1911 barrels to Doug Guy to have them crowned and throated for those that needed it. Well, I took them to the range today and boy what a difference. These guns even make me look like a shooter now. Prior to today, if I could keep all my shots on a 9" pie plate from 15 yards, I thought I was doing good. Well today I was putting multiple bullets through the same hole. I wish I had a camera to take a picture of my targets. The crowning and throating has made a major difference in accuracy. So if you want to accurize your gun for very little money, I would strongly suggest this. Thanks Doug.

Would that be West-by-God West Virginia? I thought you guys were able to shot the eye out of a squirrel at 100 yards anyway. LOL

Only with a long gun. With pistols we take the heads clean off.

Happy to say that I have 9mm, 10mm/40 S&W throating reamers and expanding mandrels in house, so I can offer the throat, crown & polish package on these calibers starting NOW!

Lead time is only a couple of days, return shipping is FREE! Send in 4 barrels for this package, the 5th barrel is FREE!

To any of my previous customers who have sent a 1911 barrel for throating, if you want to send the same barrel back for a 20° crown, I will extend the package price and you pay only the difference, and still get free shipping!

Want to know exactly how much improvement a precision cut 20° crown will squeeze out of your barrel? Shoot a before and after group, you may be amazed at how much tighter the groups are!

All at a price that you can't beat anywhere! PM for details!

Another plug for Doug.
I had him do a barrel for me awhile back and finally got to put together some loads and it is incredible 15yrd 1" groups out of a 1911 remington r1.

Thank you very much
