My dad used to say that the poor Irish were the last to come down out of the trees and have been running behind ever since. GW

Unfortunately I don't have any Guinness ,but I have a nice Porter ,made by New Belgium Brewing company. I do love Guinness ,but only on tap..
Happy ST Patrick's Day .I do have some Irish heritage..but most of my ancestors were from Scotland.
We had our Paddy's Day dinner last night, so all could attend. Corned beef & cabbage (which I had never EVER had before!), potatoes, carrots, onions, soda bread, French mustard, and carrot cake for desert. GF is Irish Protestant, and I am Irish by descent from my GGGrandfather (McDonald). I'll pass on the cabbage next time, but the corned beef was worth 3 helpings.

Just got done a while ago with the corned beef, cabbage, and potatoes. Having a bowl of Sweet Killarney from Peterson's of Dublin on the porch. Happy St. Pat's!

Sorry, I was busy, but I had corned beef, cabbage, potatoes, carrots and of course some red Irish ale.
