The Cartwright's have disguised Hop Sing, who accidentally killed Hoss' lady friend when a meat clever slipped out of his hand severing her jugular while preparing the evening meal. The towns people didn't believe the story and wanted to lynch him so they disguised him as a cowboy and rode off just before sunset to get to Virginia City to make sure their loyal and humble servant would get the full protection of the sheriff there who was a Cartwright family friend.

I think the guy in the middle is reachin' for sun lotion cause two of the other's noses have fallen off because of skin cancer.

That's definitely Hoss in the middle and Hop Sing to the right.....not sure about the others... I would guess Little Joe left of Hoss...
