PB-6 - That's all the info he gave me.

A fiend of mine asked me about this powder..I know nothing about it..Do you have any loads for 38-357 and 12 gauge shot loads? I did a little searching and can't seem to find much on it. where can I find more info?

Is that the same powder as the old Dupont PB?

Yeah!, I'll check into it more. I think that is what he is talking about. Thanks

I think he's mixing up two different powders, PB and HS-6. I've used both for loading handgun cartridges and they work just fine. You just need to determine which one your friend is talking about, but my bet is he's referring to PB.

Hope this helps.

PB is great. If you find some, buy all you can carry. :D:D

Edit: of course, before loading - absolute confirmation of the specific powder is mandatory.

But he said pb 6 ? wasnt PB just PB? Be careful, maybe some of the Maxam powders that have been showing up? They have a PSB-6 .

PSB-6? I don't find it on the Maxam company product listing. Is this something new?
I have several containers of PB, old (DuPont) and new (IMR) but none of them have a -6 in their designation. I'm betting on what you have is PB.
