Bought a used 5 cavity 429421 from historicfirearms here the other day. All I can say is WOW! This puppy is way nicer than any of the lee and lyman molds I have. Casts so easy, it's got to be a sin. Now I know why people spend more for the premium stuff. You can pick up the mold blocks, swing the sprue plate, and FEEL the quality.

Cast with my first NOE yesterday. Great quality. Was used, but new. Simply scrubbed it with detergent/water, smoked the cavities, and it dropped good bullets by the third pour. Impressive!

Now you're on your way. :D And every new NOE Group Buy will run as soon as it gets 10 names on the buyers list. Start building that new mold cabinet!!! [smilie=s:

I'm trying to collect em all.

Yes, the NOE moulds are definitely top-shelf and I suspect you'll have more someday. That's OK, happens to all of us sooner or later, LOL. I do still enjoy casting with my Lyman and Lee moulds, have had good luck with them as well.

I remember, way back in the fall of 2010, a few months after I started casting. I got in on the 'leftovers' of a NOE GB, the 44 Fat Keith (in a RG2 mold). I still recall my surprise at the vast quality difference between that and my Lee molds...it was a JUST WOW moment. To be honest, the RG2 had a bit of a learning curve, especially for a newbie to casting. But with the Help of Al and other forum members, I was casting excellent looking HP boolits by the third casting session.

It happened to me also.
Used a noe 1 time and now every time I open the mold cabinet there is another one.
It is like they are multiplying!
I wonder if they will ever stop multiplying?

I love perusing the weekly NOE sales as an excuse to buy a mold I *may* need someday. You know, for the gun your looking for that you *may* eventually find. Gotta be ready ya know.

You guy's ever been accused of being a bunch of 'enablers' ?

They will spoil you and truthfully don't cost much more than Lyman or RCBS molds. Much nicer to cast with too. A guy almost CAN'T cast a bad bullet with one.
