Yeah--a CZ-550 Lux in 7 x 57 would be my choice, but would settle for a 30-06. :)
What is Wiljen's Initiation Fee? 500# of Linotype would be a good start.

..............Wiljen and Dromia? Egads, how'd ya like to have a pup out of THAT litter :-) Since there are 2 NEW guys, at the next moderators meeting you guys will have to draw straws to see who pulls the bouncer's underwear up over his head.

Congatulations (or condolences) Adam. You've been here long enough to know how this place gets, so just remember the words of the immortal SuperChicken " You knew the job was dangerous when you took it". Good luck

Thanks for all your welcomes it is most heartening :-D
Just hope that in some way I can help this place to continue being the success it is.
Pretty intimidating challenge working amongst such experience but it sounds like fun and I welcome the opportunity to learn more.
BTW what's a Mauser? [smilie=1:

What's a Mauser? It's a Parker-Hale that came out of the closet.

Thanks Art that explains it.:-D
We've a lot to answer for here in the UK having German royalty.
Mauser actions are but a whim of fashion, it'll soon pass. [smilie=1:

Very true Buckshot very true.
Mind you I'd hate people to think that I'm old fashioned and all against change.
I do have to confess that I think that newfangled Lee Enfield with its minuscule .303" cartridge could have some merit.
Still it was only approved for service in 1895 so only time will tell.
