I am considering the purchase of a left hand bolt for my swedish Mauser.

iIs this a worthwhile solution for easier manipulation for a left handed shooter?

It depends on how you are going to use it. I find a right hand bolt is actually better on the bench where you don't need both hands on the rifle, and a left hand bolt best in the field. I don't have one of those Mauser bolts, just comparing some left hand hunting rifles, a left hand stock/right bolt M28-76 marksmanship rifle, and various right hand bolts I still have.

The 93 Mausers were occasionally converted to full left handed bolt operation, though these still ejected to the right.

I had an old gun magazine with an article on how the conversions were done.
The cock on closing action with out the third lug of the 98 action made the 93 suitable for this conversion.
The 96 Mauser is so similar I'm sure the same method would work on those as well.

The receiver had modifications to the rear but everything else was simply a matter of reversing rotation of the bolt. The position of the lugs when in locked postion was reversed.

I think left hand bolt, I think like my savage everything is reversed. I dont really have issues with my mauser as is shooting it lefty.

The left handed bolt for a Swedish Mauser is nothing more that the standard strait bolt handle bent up from horizontal so that a lefty can operate it easier. You still have to tilt the gun to your left but not as much as you would have to do with a standard strait bolt handle or more so with a turned down bolt handle.

These were common on CG 63 & CG80 Target Rifles.

Mauser rifles in general were designed from the beginning to be operated with either hand and that is why the bolt handles were strait. Later models used turned down bolt handles, as all the German leftys had already been killed. Master Race Purge,,, and all that!

Here is a link to a video showing one in action, however the guy is running the gun Right Handed, but this is a Left Hand Swedish Mauser Bolt Handle. You will note that it doglegs down instead of going strait out from the bolt itself. This is because this one was made from an M94 bolt which is turned down to begin with.

A lot of these were done by individuals and I have seen ones that were bent up at 45 degrees to horizontal for leftys.
