Good Morning fellow casters:
As I noted in a couple other posts, I bought a used Lyman 450 Lube-Sizer on EBay. It was intact, but plugged with what looks like an Alox lube. It had set over the years almost like cement.
This morning I finished the task of cleaning it out and reassembling it. It looks sharp, and needs only the top cap for the lube reservoir. In the 450 was top punch #191 and die #457. A nice bonus. I tried to do my homework, but did not get a definitive answer.
Checking the Lyman website I learned that .457 is the diameter of the bullet; #191 refers to the top punch. I also checked and found mould 457191, highlighted in red below. So, "Riddle me this, Batman": Could this be the bullet for which the die and top punch were designed?
