I'm sure many of you have done this yourselves but may be a new idea for some folks. These are the ammo box trays generally thrown in the trash at the range. The 45 ACP trays are fine for any 30/06 size base as well as 38/357. Just thought I'ed share:

Now that is great! Thanks for sharing. Looks like I'll be keeping a couple of mine just for that purpose. It'll give me a reason to fire off the remaining factory ammo that I have set aside. My reloads are a lot more fun

The blue/black/red/white 38/358 hard yet soft plastic ones make dandy reloading trays for 223. I store my 45/70 bullets in the trays you have pictured. They work great and the bullets stay clean and they are easy to inventory when stored that way.

I save those and the styrofoam trays, one top and bottom when I send test boolits to members. They work great and a bullets in them a wrap of tape each direction keeps them safe and sound during shipping.

I use those more often than any other. I use 9mm trays for 9mms.

Another nice thing about them, You can eaisly use another as a dust cover over brass you have primed and waiting to load.

There is brass sitting on my bench right now in 2 of those with 2 more as lids. :)

Also good for counting brass. I use them as a cover as well and flip the tray over with another on top to inspect primers when finished reloading. Also to seperate different loads as i work them up.

I shoot my schuetzen rifle bullets as cast, so after they cool in neat rows on the bench, I put them in those plastic insert boxes to keep them neat and ordered. Sometimes I can find the right cardboard boxes so I even can store them on the shelf or in my range box for breech seating at the range. I even found some cigar boxes that would hold 4 or 6 or more of the plastic inserts for very classy bullet storage.
