S@K instance mount for M-38 sweed

The base mount came in the other day other them missing a small screw it looks to be a strong set up for the sweed mauser.I need to double check the iron sight one more time at the 100 yard mark before going to install the new mount

The S@K mount wow nice set up easy to install the only draw back for me was the NC Star scope .
I need a little more eye relief my L.O.P. runs 13 1/2" the stock military stock is fine for me shooting iron sights but need to stretch a little to get the full eye picture with the scope.
I think if all works out right I will go for the leatherwood Hi-Lux scope seem to have a extra 3" added

My primary deer rifle is a M38 with a Leapold LER or scout scope. I made the mount and made it so i can still use stripper clips with the scope mounted. Nice set up, great bush gun.
P.S. been looking for a screw for your Vertias sight, nothing yet.

well hit the 100 yard range to day seem all went excellent :
My bolt out of the gun to bore sight the scope was outstanding first shot low in the pie plate at 6 o'clock at 100 yards
My group were not bad all bullets loaded with IMR 4350 held a 2" group

A reminder that there are TWO different rear sight bases for what is called the m/38.

1- purpose built by Husqvarna has a tangent bed rear sight.

2- conversions of m/96 Carl Gustaf & Mauser Oberndorf rifles to m/38 specs. Stepped rear sight base:

Some *few* Gustaf & Mauser conversions were fitted with new Husqvarna m/38 barrels that had the tangent bed rear sight already installed.

The only draw back for me was my L.O.P. runs 13 1/2" I can't move the NC Star scope any further to the rear.
I will say was surprise how clear the 2x7x32 MM scope was for 49.95 .
I did read the spec: on the leatherwood scope has about 2" more on eye relief total 13" compared to 11" on the NC STAR SCOPE
