22 Derimming Punch Diameter

I lost the punch that goes with my derimming die and need to make a new one, what diameter should it be?

5mm drill rod works excellent.

If you can't get any 5mm drill rod, #8 drill rod will suffice as well. Preferably "01".

Diameter should be .020 (I believe) smaller than the diameter inside the die.

Thanks for the replies, I turned one from a 1/4-20 grade 8 bolt and it is working!

I use a #8 drill blank, cost $1.00 or se each, they are .199 and fits perfect....this way all you have to do is make a holder, drill out the hole and a set screw on the side. It works great...
