They were clearing out all the deer hunting stuff today to make room for camping stuff.... 80% off all the muzzleloading and reloading stuff (this store only keeps that stuff seasonally). I missed out on the bullets and smokeless powder (they had the shelf marked $5 for a pound of H4831 and $5 for all the small boxes of nosler and Sierra bullets [emoji15] ) They had about 200 boxes of pellets and 20 pounds of Pyrodex powder. This should keep me in powder for a while at the rate I shoot my front stuffer. I'll be losing sleep and gnashing teeth for a while over missing the bullets though. I'd bet the first guy who saw them bought them all.

WOW! great prices. Our Wal-Mart just sells Pryodex and BP projectiles, I will need to look when I am in there.

Those Tastykakes are more dangerous than the Pyrodex ;)

Yeah I have a serious tastyklair problem. I actually know the local tastykake guy by name (not joking, it's Kevin).
Some of this stuff will be used in my golf ball mortar for sure. That thing is a blast. Record distance with it is 570 yards so far.

FOUND the same deal at an Indiana store a couple of years ago.
$3.00 for a 100 count of percussion caps
Yes the Pyrodex was also on clearance as well.
When I left the shelf was cleared.:bigsmyl2:

I was at the local Walmart a couple of years ago and found 19 boxes of Federal premium 270 Winchester 130 grain ballistic tip ammo for $7.00 a box. I got them all.

Right place right time. Congratulations.
Went to WM a month ago to buy a printer. Picked out one for $149.99, got to the register, & it was 1/2 price! I paid $75 for a new BJ printer! They were discontinuing that line. I went to another WM to see if I could get another, but they had sold them all...

Check their web site.
I found a nice printer for me and one for my son.
I picked up mine here and HARDWARE picked up his at the nearest WM to where he lived.

All WM's I have ever been to in SEVERAL states do NOT sell powder, except baby powder!
You would think that a state like AZ (the wild wild west) would carry reloading stuff.
Heck, they cannot even keep ammo on the shelf around here....lotst of non-reloaders I guess. I haven't bought a box of ammo in years!
What is the deal on that black powder? I have seen it 1/2 price or less at several LGS's. Is it being dropped bym maker?

destrux,
Much as I dislike Walmart in general, at times one can make a good score there. Back about 15 years ago, I caught a sale much like the one you got. I paid roughly $35 (to the best of my memory) and came away with $160+ worth of possibles...etc. I still carry my T/C White Mountain as much as my T/C inline and things like patch worms...etc. can be a life saver in the field.
