I ordered and got some ETR7 powder and was wondering what the charges would be for each application.
The load data they list covers everything I load, but they are using FMJ bullets. And they say it loads like tightgroup, but I have never used tightgroup, so I have no comparsion to work with.
So, is there a rule of thumb for powder charges when going from FMJ to cast? Something like 10% less or 15% less or what. Not looking for max loads, just a good starting point.
Any help and advice would be appreciated.
Thanks. :???: :???: :???:

Start charge minus 5% and work up.

I just shot some 38 special 125 RNFP and 158 SWC ETR7 loads as well as some 44 special 200 RNFP and 240 SWCTL loads using Titegroup data from the Hodgons reloading annual. All loads seem safe and the powder is exceptionally clean burning! The stuff meters well through powder measures too. Tim :bigsmyl2:
