I took a break from rifle shooting this week and shot my Dan Wesson Revolvers. My SuperMag in .357 Maximum and my converted M15 in 32-20.
The 32-20 is the most accurate revolver I have ever shot.

Today I shot the smallest groups I have ever shot with this gun.
132534
I was shooting it today with the shroud with the scope.
The SuperMag only has iron sights but I got some OK groups with it.

That was at 50 yards

Again at 50 yards this picture was thru the spotting scope.

Thanks for the praise. The .32's were Green Dot and my own cast LRNs. My log is not handy but I will look up the weights and alloy. I shot 2 .357 Mag loads and 1 .357 Max. All pretty stiff.

There are 5 shots, this was .357 mag. with a hornady bullet.

might just have to try some of my 357 loads in my max too it looks like, I know the 357 likes 38's just fine.
heck Tim I didn't even know you liked DW revolvers.

Have you tried the RCBS SWC in the 32-20? It out shot everything else in mine.

They appear to not be MOA accuracy that all can achieve. In realistic reality.

I have too many nice guns locked in cases. I get interested in something and it distracts me from my other interests. That Model 15 has 7 barrels, 4 shrouds, two cylinders. It mostly wears the 32-20 cylinder since I got the SuperMag. It has no right to shoot as good as it does with the 32-20 cylinder (purchased on E-bay) as the barrel is one I made from a used 30-30 barrel (or maybe that is why, the groove is 0.308") I cut the forcing cone by hand with a tapered reamer of unknown angle, I made the barrel on my friends lathe and the reamer was one he had. The crown is no crown just cut clean with the lathe.
Originally I was a semiauto fan but became a revolver fan when I started shooting a lot. I don't prefer to chase my brass.

In my experience with is sort of limited, I have never seen a MOA revolver. Again my experiences are sort of limited, the only factory new revolver I have ever owned is my Single Six Convertible. I did have a used Blackhawk that shot about like what the SuperMag is shooting. I did shoot a friends X-Frame .460 and it was stock and shot like 2 MOA with factory ammo, it might have been a MOA revolver but who knows he did not handload his ammo.

I was shooting the Mag ammo because I had loaded a bunch for the Model 15 and it was on the shelf and all the Max ammo was pretty hot and while the SuperMag is a big gun it is still a handful for me with hot Max ammo. The Max ammo shot pretty good too. Harder kicking gun is harder to shoot small groups with.

Thanks, the Max loads were with the 155gr. Lyman SWC with gas check and H110 powder at over 1600 fps I had lower standard deviations and ES with almost the same velocity with IMR4227 but I am out for now.

Most of the accessories for the Mdl 15. The 4 inch .357 barrel and shroud were on the frame and it was loaded and in a holster in my personal safe at the time this picture was taken.
