As I don't cast anymore, was thinking of ordering some 170's for my 32 Winchester spl. Anyone use these, hardness bin?

I've shot their .38s and was pleased with the accuracy, I had no problem with them leading my barrel either. I may ave just been fortunate since each gun is different.

I loaded some up for a friend's 32 Spl; They were quite accurate. I used a starting load out of the Lyman book. I can't get him to shoot 'em up to give a real test - his wife and 3 kids keep him runnin'.

Guess I'm gonna have to borrow that rifle and do it for him! In fact, I liked 'em so well, I bought another box!

Fred, do you know what velocity your buddy's load was running?

I bought a box of 500 from MidwayUSA a few years ago to try in a win 94' 32spl, that my Grandfather gave me. I used Unique load data from http://www.gmdr.com/lever/lowveldata.htm. It was great low velocity plinking round, as I don't use this rifle for hunting.
On a side note I also bought a box of .454 200gn rnfp for use in 45 colt, cowboy action shooting that shot good. Can't remember load data as it
was several years ago and my notes are down in El Paso.

Thanks for the link!

That was just the info I was searching for. Going to order up some 170's for my .32 special.
